Guatemala is a beautiful, green and lush country. I arrived at Hotel Tikal Inn set right next to the ruins at around 2pm only to discover that not only does my room not have AC but the entire hotel only has electricity between 6 and 10pm so the ceiling fan in the room is operational for that time only!!<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.capetocairo2010.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/SAM_5145.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"SAM_5145\" style=\"border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline\" border=\"0\" alt=\"SAM_5145\" src=\"http:\/\/www.capetocairo2010.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/SAM_5145_thumb.jpg\" width=\"649\" height=\"490\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.capetocairo2010.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/SAM_5146.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"SAM_5146\" style=\"border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline\" border=\"0\" alt=\"SAM_5146\" src=\"http:\/\/www.capetocairo2010.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/SAM_5146_thumb.jpg\" width=\"649\" height=\"490\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><em>Not everyday that you see a road sign for \u201ccrossing Jaguars\u201d and like I said <a href=\"http:\/\/www.capetocairo2010.co.za\/?p=116\" target=\"_blank\">before<\/a>, \u201cwe aint in Kansas anymore\u201d\u201d!!!<\/em><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">I decided to do the sunset tour of the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Tikal\" target=\"_blank\">Tikal<\/a> ruins as I am only spending one night here and will do the sunrise tour in the morning as well which enables me to see the aspects of the ruins that the sunset tour doesn\u2019t cover because this site is some 16 square kilometres!!
