I had intentions of getting my tyres changed at BMW however, notwithstanding a confirmatory email of a few weeks prior, after a 30km roundtrip through gruelling traffic and heat, I got there only to discover that they in fact did not have stock of the tyres after all!! That\u2019s BMW service for you I guess!<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The remainder of the day was spent exploring parts of this beautiful city and resting.&#160;&#160; I have mentioned once before that the Chinese (<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Chifa\" target=\"_blank\">Chifa<\/a>) and Japanese food culture here is quite developed although using local Peruvian ingredients instead of the originals because they are\/were unobtainable so Dinner was had at an awesome Japanese restaurant called Maido which according to Tripadvisor is the best Japanese restaurant in South America\u2026It was Fantastic!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.capetocairo2010.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_3058.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border-right-width: 0px; display: inline; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px\" title=\"IMG_3058\" border=\"0\" alt=\"IMG_3058\" src=\"http:\/\/www.capetocairo2010.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_3058_thumb.jpg\" width=\"649\" height=\"490\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.capetocairo2010.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_3057.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border-right-width: 0px; display: inline; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px\" title=\"IMG_3057\" border=\"0\" alt=\"IMG_3057\" src=\"http:\/\/www.capetocairo2010.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_3057_thumb.jpg\" width=\"649\" height=\"491\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p> <em>Dinner at Maido..<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today was a rest day in Lima.
